Human Rights Protocol Considerations | HRPC
HRPC explores the relationship between internet protocols and human rights. It proposes guidelines to inform future protocol development and aims to increase awareness of the importance of the technical workings of the internet to the expression of human rights. It also aims to prepare participants to raise human rights concerns directly in IETF working groups.
- Standards under development: Guidelines for Human Rights Protocol and Architecture Considerations is an informational guideline for developers working on network protocols and architectures to integrate human rights considerations in this work. Internet Protocols and the Human Rights to Freedom of Association and Assembly is an informational document that outlines the relationship between the internet architecture and the rights to peaceful assembly and association online.
